Mekong Delta By Locals is the slower version of the delta — designed for travellers who want a homestay night, time with families, and the canals rather than the headline stops.
Where guests stay
We work with a small number of family homestays in Ben Tre and Vinh Long. Rooms are simple, meals are shared, and the day's pace follows the family — not a schedule.
What the photos show
These frames were made between activities: a fisherman checking traps, a homestay courtyard at dusk, a portrait of one of the elders who hosted the group. The trip is documented as it happens, never staged.
Who it suits
This is not a fast tour. It suits travellers comfortable with rural conditions, basic English among hosts, and the trade-off of comfort for access. Solo travellers, couples and small groups all fit well.
